Dell or Mac?

I've had my Dell laptop since of May of 2008 and I have had no problems with it ...yet (fingers crossed) other than it is starting to get really slow. I do have a TON of music and pictures on it though. So I've decided to get a new computer this year. There are so many different options though. What is your opinion??

Should I cross over to the dark side...Apple, or should I stick with Dell who has done nothing wrong to me yet? If I do get a Mac no one can tell Bill Gates because we live pretty close to each other and I don't want him to attack me.

Here is what I would like the computer to have:
DVD/CD option
built in webcam/microphone
Built in wireless (pretty common these days)
Light in weight
13inch ish
And the ability to listen to music while web browsing (right now my computer is pretty slow with that)

I like these two:

Or I could get this....

What do you think? Do you have a laptop that you LOVE?? Even if you had just randomly stopped by my blog, I want to know what you guys think. THANKS!!!!!!

You probably don't know this, as I don't really like to tell many people, but I've owned and used a few computers in my day (and just as a side-note, my day is not yet done, so I plan to use even MORE computers in my day (just don't tell anybody who can't be trusted)).

Over the last 4 months I've been using a MacBook, which I bought used, off eBay, for about $500. And you know what? It's fantastic. It started off as a necessary tool, to program for the iPhone, but I've really grown fond of it, to the point where it's the computer I use most (a big deal, since I have 5). It runs very smoothly and quickly, especially for being a 2007 model. That being said, it's almost right up your alley. It has all the specs you mentioned, with a 13" screen... BUT, it isn't light. It's pretty thin, and small, but feels heavier than you would expect. And you would also have to be open to learning the Mac OSX system, which would be challenging, but rewarding.

Also, I use a Dell for work, which is great. It isn't as thin or stylish as my MacBook, but it's lighter and pretty problem-free.

Thanks for giving me a chance to write about computers on your blog. We miss you, and hope you're doing great!
