Favorite Books

Since I moved into my new apartment I have not had cable. This includes the basic channels. It was hard at first, but only when I was eating dinner. I really like to watch plebeian television shows while stuffing my face. Now I just put in a movie. I'm obsessed with Redbox. I have also been spending my time reading books. I was just curious to see what all of your favorite books are because I need to stock up before I become seasonally depressed.

'My favorite books' list changes each year. It really depends on where I am in my life. Right now I would say mine are the following:

Life of Pi by: Yann Martel (Fiction...or is it? Muhahah)
Redeeming Love by: Francine Rivers (Christian)
The Octopus and the Orangutan by: Eugene Linden (true stories about animal behavior)

I recommend ALL of them. Please email or comment on here what your favs are!!

Well, I just started a book club with some girls (crazy, because I am definitely not a good reader), but I thought it would challenge me. We read one book a month and this month we are reading Frankenstein (in honor of Halloween :)). It's pretty good. A pretty long book, but a good story so far. It was written in the 1860s, I think, so amazing how long the story has been passed around.

Also, Francine Rivers has a great trilogy called the Mark of the Lion series. Great books. Easy reads.

I'll let you know if we start any other great books at book club.

Hope to see you very very soon. :)!!! We are still working with his company to see what will work out.s
