Primates

I have decided to give my blog new directions.

Most of my friends and other successful bloggers have a main topic they discuss on their site. Whether it is cattle, photography, or a new baby it makes their sites very entertaining. I have decided to give my blog more life. I will discuss things I know best. Non-human primates. I will still post pictures of my social life, but will slowly add new facts about monkeys/apes. I hope you enjoy this spicy new blog!!

I'll start off by introducing this species:
Guess what the name of this ape is?

Answer: BONOBO

My recently favorite ape are the bonobo's. They are basically a hippier version of chimpanzees. They make love instead of war. Bonobo's and chimpanzees are the closest to humans which is probably why I find them so interesting. They reside in the Dominic Republic of Congo and are currently endangered. I've never seen one before in real life, including zoos, but I do hope to study them one day. I like to describe Bonobo's as hairy models. They have very long legs and pink lips. The females also run the group and dominate the males. Like I said this species makes love not war...ALL THE TIME. That's what they are known for :) Google image 'Bonobo' and you'll see what I mean.

I hope you learned something today!! Have a great week.
