London's Calling

I apologize for not posting yesterday.  This post will make up for it because it will be filled with beautiful photographs and history.

I took a 1.5 hour bus to London to sight see and visit my college friend Chelsea.  It was amazing and I didn't get lost or kidnapped. The whole time I was thinking of the movie Taken though. Don't watch that movie if you plan on traveling alone. Ever.

I arrived in London around noon and hiked my way through Hyde Park to the Knightsbridge area.  Knightsbridge is a very wealthy section of London filled with shops like Harrod's, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Burberry, Prada, and Chelsea's hotel, The Sheraton Park Tower.  I dropped my backpack off in her hotel room and jumped on a Big Bus Tour.  It was a couple hours long and the only stops I got off at were Westminister Abbey and Buckingham Palace.  On the bus trip we got to see some pretty cool things like:
Jack Nicholson stays at this hotel. It is so nice you have to be invited to stay here.
Nicky Clarke is the guy who used to cut Princess Diana's hair. We caught a glimpse of him in the window!

A picture inside Harrod's just to show that I was there. This was taken for all of you coffee lovers. They also had DELICIOUS chocolate. It was hard to leave this place.
