One of our lecturer's told us in class last week that we may not be having class next week because she's going on strike. Apparently the strike is to defend pensions and to stop cuts. Our professor said that "they" are asking her to work more, but get paid less. I feel like that's how all of my previous jobs have been. I support her protesting, but really who is this strike actually affecting. Now we miss out on a lecture that we have already paid for. Thankfully it is my 9AM class so that means I get to sleep in! :) Oh the joys of being in college again.
