US Thanksgiving in the UK

Today was an amazing day!

I got up early, fancy dress, and me and 6 other Americans headed to my professors house outside of Oxford.
THEN, we got to do this:
That's right! Scoop up manure in our fancy dress. I felt like I was in a J.Crew magazine gone bad.

It was actually quite fun! It reminded me of home and of my Grandpa's farm.

My professor owns a horse that we got to ride so I got to use all of my Grandpa's tricks he taught me.

Except in England, you usually ride ENGLISH :(  I really liked Western.

It was so much fun!! There was no way you couldn't see us. We were all wearing HOT PINK!
I got to ride the horse by myself and we even got to ride this baby (4 yrs old) through the village. We passed Tim Burton's house too.

Today was a veggie only Thanksgiving, but we did have a TOFUrkey.  Don't you worry!!! This carnivore will have her own meat feast on Thursday!!
