The word 'pissed' has many different meanings.
It can be used in the following context:
"I'm pissed" means "I'm extremely drunk."
"I'm really pissed" can mean "I'm really angry."
"I took the piss out of her" means "I made fun of her."
Also, the Brits had a laugh today when I explained that my pants were wet. To provide more details, on my way home from the library the weather decided to start sleeting resulting in wet pants among other things. Unfortunately, the word 'pants' means 'underwear' here. It is quite amusing to hear them giggle like teenagers when I say things like "My pants are wet and keep falling down," because to them I am stating that "My underwear is wet and keeps falling down."
It is so cold here. :( I hate that it is 60F in Kansas!
