1/1 - 1/3 - Scotland

In Scotland, they celebrate New Years HARD CORE! The country is shut down from 12/31 - 1/2 and this year there was a wind storm that that shut the country down on 1/3. This kept us in Glasgow for most of the trip only because the none of the trains were running. We watched all 8 Harry Potter movies plus many others. We were able to go to Stirling on 1/2 and here are some pictures from that:

On 01/03/12 we were supposed to visit the lake to see the Lochness Monster, but the high winds led us right back to Glasgow.  This is the only picture I have of the trip:

The girl behind us threw up the whole way there and back = 4 hours. BLAH

All of the trains were canceled. 

We came home and watched Braveheart!
