Oxford Adjustments

Are you watching the olympics tonights?? You should be!!  U S A U S A U S A U S A

I actually just got back from the lab/library (yes it is 8:17pm on a Friday night)...I can already tell that the next 2 months will involve NO social life whatsoever.

I'm feeling a tad bit better, but I still have some stomach issues that need adjusting. The weather here is beautiful - sunny and 80s F. There are a bunch of 18 year old foreign students around which makes traveling difficult because they move in a herd crowding the buses and streets. It's funny because they are here to learn English, but I was definitely shocked when I came back to Oxford because I didn't hear any English spoken until a couple of days later. :)  This does make for a fun story...

I had gone to my old home/Nikki's flat to pick up my suitcase and I was traveling back on the X13 bus to my new home.  I sat next to this Spanish 18 year old boy. We started talking, mostly about what primates are and why I studied them, and then when he got off the bus he kissed me twice. The Spanish kiss. It was a great welcome home present. Who cares if he is 18! In England, 16 is legal. I don't really know if it is, but I'm assuming because they can drink at 18. I love Europe. This is a picture of him.

No not really, but I wouldn't mind a kiss from Enrique.
