Do you like to travel? Do you read Lonely Planet?
One day as it was pouring down raining in South-eastern Madagascar, I read the ENTIRE Madagascar book. Every single page. I had nothing else to do :) Did you ever notice that there is a section that asks for your feedback about the area??
Well, I then made a list of all of the restaurants and hotels that I had been my favorite in Fort Dauphin and I just emailed them. I then got online and emailed it to them. They list all of the people who helped them in the next book they publish. I also got 35% off my next purchase!!!
I strongly suggest you check it out the next time you travel. It will help the next traveler and you might even get a reward out of it :)
Speaking of traveling, I constantly am asked what my favorite place is that I've visited this year. This is hard because each place is great in its own way.
If I was wanting to go on a honeymoon or romantic get-a-way then I would definitely say Santorini, Greece FOR SURE. So beautiful and lots to do around the area.
If I wanted to visit the Africa and see lemurs - DUH Madagascar :) There is nowhere else in the world that you can do this and for the most part, the people are peaceful and hilarious.
For the history aspect and sightseeing - I loved Athens and Olympia in Greece. So much history and the food was so delicious. I also really like England though. I could be bias because my ancestors are from here, but it's been great seeing their tombstones and learning more about my family history.
A place that I wouldn't mind visiting year after year - Italy hands down! Beautiful people, history, and food/wine!!! Everyone needs to visit Italy.
As you can see, I can't decide on one place as my favorite :)
