What in the World Am I?

Answer: Anteater.

Here is another one. It is a bit hard, but I think the history of this animal is quite interesting!

The King James Bible translates my name as "unicorn." I became extinct in the wild in 1972, but I have recently been reintroduced to part of my former range in Arabia.

In other news, I'm starting the next step in my Research and Conservation Internship with the Sedgwick County Zoo. I will now begin working with classes at the zoo in a variety of ages. I'm excited to mold their minds :)  The past few weeks I have been working behind the scenes with chimpanzees, orangutans, and gorillas. I've had poop thrown at me, kisses blown, and been groomed. I just can't get enough of primates. I could watch them for hours. On the weekends, I'll be sitting at exhibits with facts and videos and fun stuff about primate conservation so if you're in Kansas (which who wouldn't want to visit!) come by and see me!
