The Northern Giant Mouse Lemur,Mirza zaza, (relative to body size) has larger testicles than a Gorilla. Mirza zaza's testicles are even larger than their own brain! What is the purpose of this you may ask? To flush out other male's sperm. Of course, being Primatologists we've been labeled as having a perverse mind so many jokes have already been told about this discovery. Friday night was spent laughing until we were crying. I'll refrain from explaining them on this PG-13 blog.

Are they nocturnal or diurnal? - It's safe to assume by looking at their body size. These guys are quite tiny so they can hide easier than larger primates =They are nocturnal; meaning they are most active at night.
Also random fact - they carry their young in their mouths.
