Happy Halloween

Today was spent with a lecture from Ian Redmond. Yup, the Ian Redmond who worked with Dian Fossey. Pretty cool huh? I even got a picture with him

Yes, my face is painted and I look like a freak. Since I didn't have a costume one of my classmates decided to draw on my face. I think I'm supposed to be a bird, but I have 4 eyes.  Also, the girl on the right side of the picture was dressed as a Proboscis monkey. You should google them. That's truly what they look like. Big nose and um....

Anyways, don't worry about Ian. We didn't scare him off; he actually encouraged it and even took a picture of my face to send to his friends on his blackberry. :)  We're best friends now.

Here are some other pictures from the night:
Emperor Tamarin (primate)

Vervet (primate)

Tamarin with a Gibbon (primates)

Some of the group dressed up

There were also a bunch of contests which we  won  2 of the 3.
I love my class and professors! Primatologists have to be weird, so I think I fit in just fine.
