Turkish Dinner

I found out the hard way that all shops, including grocery stores, close at 5 PM or earlier on Sunday in Oxford.  After an afternoon of sunbathing and "studying" I was ready for some food.  Daria and I walked down to the City Centre prior to 5 only to find out that all of the main grocery stores were closed.  The walk takes about 30 minutes from our dorms to the City Centre. We then spent an hour or so walking around the City Centre trying to find a grocery store open.  We caught a bus to take us back to the other side of town, but then a car hit our bus. We were stuck on the bus waiting for our driver to exchange insurance information. How can you not see a double decker bus? We finally made it to the other side of town only to discover their stores also close at 17:00.  I was so hungry I almost ripped a leaf off of one of the Himalayan Birch Trees. Most of you know that I detest anything resembling vegetables so you can imagine how starving I really was.  We came across a Turkish Restaurant and decided to try it out.  I've never had Turkish food before and it was amazing!! I had the chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese covered with a cream sauce so creamy any lactose intolerant being would immediately feel pain.  I ate it anyways.  I then had a side of hummus with spiced lamb and pita bread.

I now look 7 months pregnant.

I have to read another article and then I'm passing out. I've got class tomorrow at nooner.
